Seamless Link for Opsware/HP OMDB® to BMC Atrium CMDB®

For users of Opsware/HP and BMC Remedy ITSM customers, Seamless
offers the ability to integrate the specific object configuration
data and object-to-object relationship information in the Opsware
OMDB with the Remedy ITIL Helpdesk and Change tickets into a single
view of configuration, change and incident information. Seamless'
connector loads the data from the Opsware OMDB into the BMC Atrium
CMDB, and then reconciles the data into the production Atrium CMDB
dataset.
This Integration will reduce process design, CMDB population and
design, technology deployment, integration labor and maintenance
costs, and enable customer efficiency and improvement programs using
ITIL aligned service programs. The Seamless Connector maps data
from the OMDB into the existing Atrium CMDB data structures. Seamless's
Consulting methodology applies ITIL best practice processes to the
BMC Remedy ITSMv7, or BMC BEM/SIM and Opsware/HP SAS, NAS, PAS,
OMDB and VAM tools to provide data center automation in a closed
loop controlled and monitored solution.

software needs to be in place:
1. Opsware/HP OMDB 1.0.1
2. BMC ITSMv7 Atrium CMDB 1.1 or 2.x, or
3. BMC BEM/SIM 7.x with CMDB 1.x or CMDB 2.x
4. Java JRE 1.4 or up
5. Minimum - Memory requirement 1GB
6. Minimum - Disk space requirement 1GB
(Seamless typically loads the software onto the machine which is
running the Atrium CMDB.)
