Cisco Network Compliance Manager (NCM) to BMC Atrium CMDB Connector
Provides a Unified View of ITIL enabling Configuration & Operational Data
Seamless provides a commercial off-the-shelf and supported solution that synchronizes and maintains CMDB data from Cisco Network Management tools. The Cisco Network Compliance Manager (NCM) to BMC Atrium integration enables the Remedy administrator to populate NCM device data as well as device relationship data into the Atrium CMDB as CIs.

Key Functionality


  • The data is read from Cisco NCM through a standard API/JDBC interface .

  • The data is associated from the Cisco NCM relationship (i.e. Device-Device, Device-Location, Device-Firmware, etc) to the Atrium CMDB relationship

  • The data is populated into appropriate forms in the CMDB as defined by the Connector mapping definition files. Default mapping ships with the connector and custom mapping is via a configuration file

  • Users can access the Cisco NCM data from the Remedy system once the data is merged into the Atrium CMDB production dataset via the reconciliation process

  • The data is automatically updated based on changes detected in Cisco NCM by the connector on a schedule or event basis
